The cable that came with the audio 2 is like this...

get 2 of these...

and hook those up to the stock A2dj cord; and some spare rca's from around the house...

Separate the spare RCA into two cables so you have room.

And connect each one to the RCA ins on the back of the KRK's.

its from when i plugged my laptop into my 42 inch tv. it looked beautiful!

if it matters, i had a delay between what i did and saw, but i fixed it by going into gaming mode on the tv.

but how is this different from the setup i have?

I spent 20$ at gc for the Y splitter and the t TRS to TRS cables!!!!! (i can probably still return them though

Well the TRS inputs on the KRK are balanced. And the output on your A2Dj is unbalanced. Switching to a proper connection with improve the sound quite a bit. I'd return the cables if i were you, and buy some $2 connectors from radio shack.

wow, and with this current setup it sounds quite nice. ill politely inform this to the pl at gc tomorrow afternoon (for some reason they were sure it was balanced) and ask for a refund.

Never trust advice from the people at Guitar Center. I think somebody tells them they have to pretend to know everything. I've gotten good advice from them but also way too many times just been told bullshit.

That is the important part. You should NEVER think that getting advice from a place, or from someone is a bad idea. It feel that this is the worst thing to do if you ever wish to grow. Even people who bullshit you may sometimes have an ounce of genius in their comments, well even if it's not genius still pretty smart. You know what I mean.
