Probably should have used the word disorder instead of illness, my bad. But it's a legit "estimated number in a given year," which is what we have to go by according to the National Institute of Mental Health. Turns out the number is actually closer to 57M people, or one in four Americans...

I've had my eyes opened since taking this gig and have realized how little real data doctors have to go off of when we visit them with our problems. I personally think that data is the answer to a lot of our healthcare problems, and that's a big reason I took the job.
