Obrigado, link to the instructions? I did a quick search on google, but what I found seemed way too expensive to be worth it.

it's all done by my father and all necessary thing we bought at local market of building materials and tools, so all i needed was sized wooden slats, aluminum squares, black leather and good pair of hands (which i do not own)

and all this has cost me $20

3 cdj 400s djm 700, efx 1000, bi amp krk rkt 6 g2s and just added kontorl x1 and tsp need audio 8dj n serial tho to run threw mixer or can i map the mixer to contorl the faders etc in traktor??

Right, originally my set up was not digital, i used the pioneer mixer with 2 x cdj1000mk2's. I then bought intimidation touch dvs cos it was cheap to see if i liked the digital dj'ing, i did and then tsp became half price so i bought that. I decided i was getting bored with just using cdj's and i was getting fed up of burning hundeds of cds off all the time so i opted to buy 2 x kontrol x1's. Then i doscovered this website and started to read about the vci-100SE and i thought id love one of them, and thats how i got there lol... tbh i love the vci-100SE to bits so i can see myself selling one of the kontrol x1's before long, they are like 2 months old and been used maybe 5 times lol, i bought the bags for them too so maybe look out for one for sale in the buy/sell section in the new year, it seems a waste but they do work well with the vci as when u use them all u have instant access to your 8 cue points on each deck without having to mess around with the cue juggle buttons, and sometimes the control you get over the fx banks with the kontrol x1's i think is far superior to that of the vci, so if you can afford it why not lol

Overkill, I know! So far I got Decks 1 & 2 working on external and im using maschine with the actual program to drop beats and play my og work.

Nice. Are you using an X1 for each deck or something else?

I have 2 X1s and I haven't adequately utilized 4 decks yet (and I don't think I will)…I'm thinking about mapping them to each control a single deck so I'll stop getting confused about whether I'm in hotcue mode or not (it's a personal problem)

Im right now its on a 2 deck setup, which in going to swtich over to 3 deck to drop loops a'la Tkaktor S4 mode

gotta ask though, how does that fit in with your workflow? i saw your last tracklist that you posted, and man was that an awesome selection of tunes. it was all over the place. how do you do it without jogs and pitch faders? seems like those would be essentials for that kinda mixing. just curious man, let me know!

What kinda coffin is that mate? thats essentially the setup im wanting except with a DJM600 and a faderfox replacing one of the X1's
