I just picked up this TC for $60, nice addition to my SCS3S. Completely custom maps allow for 4 deck or 2 deck two sample deck control. I can control all 4 FX units from either the TC or the SCS3M, or the SCS3D's for that matter. I've got all for vertical sliders on TC set up as Volume for decks A-D as I have pitch control on the 3M or 3D's. Decks A & B use main EQ area on TC, C & D are accessible either on TC or 3M/3D's, Loop recorder functions in a few different spots, browsing and loading in a few areas, Transport for 4 decks on TC, individual scratch for each sample decks in two different areas. The only thing left to map is custom views to toggle between clock/main record and FX units.
So for sake of vanity, have you given thought to just adding another couple SCS 3D controllers to keep things all "the same" so to speak?
I was under the impression that you could add more units into that system. As far as cost is concerned, I could understand then prerogative of waiting. But IMO with the other controller... it just LOOKS like it doesn't fit.
Really interesting mapping and possibilities you got going though, seriously.
Bit the bullet and did the monitor today!
