Put the shovel in the ground and start building already! Can't wait to unpack the 4A and the cliplauncher. Im going to have a crazy amount of fun mapping it!!
You guys announced them too soon and made people wait too long. IMO you guys missed your opportunity to maximize sales. This was like waiting for Dr. Dre's Detox. We were all hyped when we heard about it, then we waited, and waited, and waited...Now the hype is dead and I've moved on.

My Setup
This is definitely true... I don't know what issues they ran into that delayed this, but they had working prototypes like eight months ago, and now they're likely not even going to release these in time for the christmas rush? Fail.
They shouldn't have announced so early. Think about how insanely lucky they are than any other company hasn't come around and realized the hype and built a line of inexpensive modular controllers while behringer's been clusterfucking. Someone easily could have done it just in the months in between the prototype and now, and the CMD would have sold nothing.
Someone else probably could, but for the money? Had there been quick money for the making someone would have opportunized (new word?) on the occasion and we would have seen them on the market by now. I don't mind the competition but behringer has a special place in my heart now for being first with this. I have no doubt that any delay could be due to queue in the facility as you can't get the first spot if you want to keep costs down.
Just guessing here!
And really, do you need hype in order to stay interested?Go easy on the sugar!

Yes, Behringer has a special place in my heart for the same reason. Doesn't mean they haven't screwed this up royally. If it weren't for the epic wait and the big design flaw in the PL-1 that I pointed out earlier, Behringer would still be my heroes for making such an awesome product line. I was posting in all kinds of forums about how rad these were. Any time anyone asked about what they should buy, I told them to wait until the CMD came out. I was the biggest fan.
There was a point where I had planned out my new setup, and was planning on pre-ordering six of the CMD controllers... Between the wait and the coming to light of the design flaw in the PL-1 (seriously, wait till people figure it out... it's retarded), I'm now planning on just getting a MM-1, and even then, only if nobody announces another 4-channel mixer controller with a crossfader... Which might happen, given how long this has already taken.

For me time is up... I got tired of waiting, so today I ordered my two Reloop Contour.
I think they are nice addition to my DDM4000.
Maibe next time Behringer... Now, I declare myself disappointed.
BTW... Greetings all, my first post here, after long time reading...
