when at a houseparty and everyone is just chilling, putting tracks on youtube, etc, you usually end up in control, and try mixing using youtube alone.

Hahaha i do this except im worse, i always carry about my portable hard drive, with my whole music collection and an install of traktor on it hahahahaha

you know your a DJ when you have a flat eric plush doll, and every time you pick him up you have to play "flat beat" and do the hed boppy thing he does to the bass. When listening to a song in the club, you know what YOU would mix into next, and are disappointed when the dj doesn't.

When you hear the track that's coming next minutes before anyone else in the club, tell your friends, and get that smug satisfaction when your mates look at you minutes later like :eek: how did you know.

Once i were mixing with two laptops, 2 youtubes and one numark mixer

in one of my first parties, i used 2 laptops. one as the main and th other to look up songs. after the song was looked up, i opened another tab to that song on the main laptop and did volume sweeps.
