Always use trackitdown.net, nice site layout. Easy to find what you're looking for and great preview player. Also lost a lot of music on a harddrive and they let me download it all again

Good to know. I just noticed eMusic no longer allows that -- in fact it even gives you the option of buying the song a second time, like that would be a normal thing to do! I also just noticed that your balances do not roll over, so the credit you pay for is "use it or lose it" -- and in fact, the increments that they give you credit in are set up so you will *always* lose money ... pennies of course, but it all adds up -- at the end of the year that's some 8-10 tracks you paid for but were never able to download because your change disappeared. Shady, IMHO; it's exactly what I was afraid of when they first moved away from the "credits" model, which I thought was much more honest. Still, I like emusic's price structure; I just think it's dishonest. They should just charge 59 cents a song or something instead of pretending they are 49 cents.

Aside from the personal reasons of liking them, they really are a kick ass site too. Their player is leaps and bounds better than the beatport player.

This is my main beef w/ Beatport. I've bought some BP exclusives which aren't really mixable w/o sever editing b/c of some wonky start or break.

Well I wonder if emusic execs are reading this lol ... I just ran out my balance to some change and it actually says "will carry over" on the balance so I guess I was wrong. But I had a couple bucks left over from the last carry over and they did not carry over so I guess it only carries over your change?

I will often look for remixes of tracks I like on soundcloud. nothing like finding a gem from some aspiring DJ/Producer to add to your library
