What is this I don't even.

Rekordbox is pretty much a direct copy of SSL's browser with export focus. Traktor has a kafikaesque sequence of a few playlists, and then just all of your shit, and then your entire HDD, and a search bar.

Fundamentally I know what you're getting at. However I personally had used Traktor for a long time before I started using rekordbox. I used the comment2 field, key and ratings a lot in traktor and these don't merge very well with rekordbox. The ratings and key stuff copies if you drag from traktor to rekordbox, however all of the comments stuff I put in doesn't, since the traktor comment2 field is a specific addition to the id3 tags (or something like that, please correct me if I'm mistaken).

No way I'm rewriting all of my comments I've written in traktor to the normal comment field for use in rekordbox. I really need a tool to do this.

How's the iTunes integration in 2.5? And Rekordbox?

Could you use it as an intermediary?

Itunes recognition in 2.5 is fairly the same. At least from what I have played around with. I haven't played too much with 2.5 yet, but it seems to scan itunes, playlist, ratings and everything well.

For rekord box, its similar, expect to upload to a thumb you you have to import the tracks to rekord box for them to be analyzed. So you can individually chose the tracks and make a crate in Rekord box, or like I do, make playlist in itunes, then import the playlist to rekord box to be analyzed. Afterwards I just export the playlist back to a thumb drive and it appears on my cdjs as playlist.
