Hardly. That was the Pop version of acid house. Notice how that track doesn't even use a 303 in it's arrangement. Their follow up single starts with a rap that goes:

Yeah, so where is Hip-House now, eh? Exactly. Thank God that LFO and Orbital came out of that scene to move things forward.

I'd recommend listening to some KiNK if you want some new school acid house. He does other stuff too which is all excellent.

He's amazing.
