I think the Innofader might be a bit too big??

    LOL....Minnofader....and PXF2......YEAH YEAH......its been YEARS!!!!

I believe the Innofader is a heavier Xfader compared to the PXF and it unbreakable (well just about).

The PXF seems to be a little more complex...with having to service it etc.

    But I WANT IT!

I'm thinking off a Innofader for my vci-100

What do you think Innofader VS ProXfader for my vci
    Oi.....hold on.

I only have 2 in and 2 outs. (2 Stereo pairs - Audio 4 DJ)
The mixing in this case is done internally. So the master goes out on 1 channel and i cue on the other.

    RIGHT!

Its only if i were gonna use an external mixer that I would need the Audio 8.
    4 externally routed channels.

    Cool!

I am going to start playing using my new setup at this seasons Psy gigs using an external mixer (seeing as its an Xone 92) and this will work perfect for just the 2 channels.

For the Electro....I am aiming to control 4 decks....mixing internally.

So TSP will STILL be the best option, as well as the PXF for the VCI.

WOW.....i think i actually figured it all out.
I now know exactly how it will be setup. Hardware and Software.

Sorry for Hijacking the thread....but it IS still PXF related....in a way!

    PaddyDJ,
Thank you so much for the tip on the Pro X Fade. I installed the thing last night, and it is REALLY nice. My wires didn't work according to your diagram, but a little trial and error sorted it out.

I can't wait till Eclectic Breaks sends me a replacement fader knob (somehow the knob didn't make it into my fader package). If I like it this much even with no knob...

My bad, dude. Cap, I mean fader cap, LOL! Though putting a potentiometer in the xfader position wouldn't be an out-of-the-question mod. Some of those really great sounding old mixers have rotaries instead of faders - not my bag though. I like faders, and this thing is just a big slab of butter. Yum.

    HI Guys

Decided to do this and i am (as i thought) lost with the wires. i have read the NI thread and the instructions seem really clear, but.... i dont know what bypass means. i have kept trying the wires in different combinations but seem to be driving myself insane as nothing had moved in traktor pro no matter how i put the wires in.

Help Please i have a vci upside down with no clue of how to attach the wires.

    cheers Michael

Dont know how this happended, but connected a fourth wire by chance and it started working. not sure what happended or who upstairs took pitty on me, but it works.

Also had a really interstering point when i closed it up. the wire not attached must have touched the casing, so when i moved the xfade to the left all lights went out on the vestax and as soon as i moved it right the came back on. so i have blanked the loose wire with some insulating tape and all is well.

Fader is excellent for scratching, i have noticed a real difference in an hour. i have a little less hair, but it is worth it.

    cheers Guys
