    Ean:

For the CSS, just re-upload the skin you used...and save to current name under VB.
Have you set a nightly maintenance (VB) to perform a daily backup to a file? If so, you can restore the full forum to latest backup...

Does VB have an auto back up function itself? We apparently did not have nightly backups of our MSQL database which is where all the info for the forum is. The skin was custom, i am trying to reach the designer but it may be contained in an older backup

To be honest.. I don't recall the auto-backup feature. My last crash without backup was a few years ago... Since then, I have being doing two procedures:

    a) I set up a nightly "Cron Job" that backups everyhthing (including database) to a different folder.

    b) There are many add-ons/mods for VB Management. I use a mod that also do the night backup automatically.

I will get you a few links in the VB Forums so you can read about them and decide if you would like to use any of them.

Good news is that we have sprung for the $200 a month dedicated server on one of the best hosts so from here on out things are going to be running a lot more smoothly.
