You never know man, it seems like that they are going down the right route tho, I'm after hearing that they will be offering overlays, this is even before the product is released. I think overlays and advanced mappings are something that every company should really consider now a-days. This, combined with the fact that its four decksand a low price....I hope its not too good to be true.
Quality will be the Issue. But im sure the DJTT community will quickly make a good decision on this product once they get there hands on one. I base all my decisions on gear from this site and the forums hehe

Hi, i'm new to this forum and equally anticipating the release on this beast, but the important things to me would be the sound and build quality. I was just about to order reloop's Digital Jockey 2 controller edition with NI's Audio Dj 2 as apposed to the Interface edition because the of the advice i was given on the sound quality. I'm glad i didn't as i just clocked this video on youtube for the vms4:-

The vms4 does look pretty good to me but i would be concerned how the souncard performs. The jogs seem to be very responsive but i think they look a bit cheap compared to reloop's and vestax's offerings. I have found one uk retailer (link below)with an expected delivery for 19/04/10 at around £399 and the VMS4.eu offical website just says the 2nd quarter for 2010

I played with one today..Didnt like the feel of the jog wheels...
Here's the Pro Audio Star rundown on this product:

And my blog post with a more in depth take:

I've been told the fader is going to be upgradable to eliminate the gap in the fader curve. Even with the small gap I was able to cut a little bit on this thing and it didn't feel all that terrible. I can't agree with Ean's review that it's too heavy to lug around but perhaps that comes from being a turntable guy as anything beats lugging those. I think if people get behind this controller and sort out the Traktor mapping it could be pretty capable. Maybe a good look for VDJ users too since it's built around that software. I'm a Serato/turntable guy though so take that as you will!
