So it looks like I get to keep em and get a full refund. Hell Yea. They are more comfortable than my friends real ones. Isolation is good. Only thing is they are bass heavy. Other than that, damn good headphones for free. And they do have the screw on 1/4" adapter.

I also bought headphones on E-bay(Sony mdr v700). They were cheap and are probably fake, but i dont care, because they sound really good.

Great, a headphone thread I'm looking into investing in a new set of headphones, my old pair are starting to feel uncomfortable after a couple of hours. Any suggestions? I remember seeing a pair of Pioneer earphones which are constructed from metal and can be folded nicely? Cheers

Oh you mean the HDJ-2000, yeah those are nice, you can also bend the headband is opposite directions and they wont break. Great headphones, I own a pair myself. My only complaint is that they lack in the isolation department. All in all, I would still use my Sennheiser HD-25 mk2 over them. They look like shit, but nothing in my years of DJing isolates better, has as flat a response (except maybe for MDR-7506/V6), and is tankishly well built. It's a great pair of cans.

Thank you for that, the senheisers do look pretty terrible but may go for a pair myself. Have you used the HDJ-1000's?

Using them right now actually (I own alot of headphones lol). They're alright, to be totally honest, they're run of the mill DJ headphones. You know, the ones that imitate the MDR-V700. My biggest complaint about the 1000's is that they're very bass heavy, but that's not really their fault since they're billed as DJ headphones - as such, the heavy bass response floods the mids, and produces a very colored sound.

If you're looking for clarity in a DJ headphone, I recommend the HDJ-2000, or the Sennheiser HD-25 mk2. If you're looking for great studio/DJ headphones which are sub $100, I highly recommend the Sony MDR-V6, or the MDR-7506 - they're both the exact same headphone, just a different model number for some dumb reason.

ATH M50's are nice. Ultrasone dj 1 pros are nicer, but also twice as expensive.

I don't do anything fancy (yet), but have a fab pair of headphones. I got the Sennheiser HD205's. I couldn't afford anything top whack. I got them off Amazon for £17 including postage. The same afternoon as I ordered them, I popped into Currys electrical store in the UK and found them selling them for £49.99!!!!

I got them, and they're fab quality for my needs. Super clear and no distortion at all, even at high volume. Only issue is that they're a bit tight. I just left them over a couple of books for a couple of days to 'stretch' them and they now fit perfectly.
