Im usinn a Torq software about a year and can say that during this time Ive had only a few glitches/freezes. For my personal oppinion torq s sound engine isn t the finest in the world and skratch response is not the best 2. Im play.inn few times aprox 5 hrs usinn laptop with Vista!! without any freezes
Torq was a *child of its time* the cheaper alternative to Serato/Traktor.
But its do it job and conective interface has not bad sound quality - im thinkinn about switchinn to Traktor Duo , but i m not goinn to sold my conective.
Currently im usinn my laptop keyboard to control cue s/hot cue s, fx off/on and loops in/out..
I think its more interesting to create traktors controller untill M Audio improves their soft.

    I m a previous user of torq.
Like most of the comment, Torq ia cool and cheap solution which offers some really good advantages but limits as well.
The main one forme is the progression of the software which is still on 1.5 despite many bugs, including beta drivers for X64 plateform.
My other cons is that the knobs don t like heat and humidity.
For those who don t like the seperate analysis file, I found it very useful as you can tweak it directly and it helps to load the tracks with some great performances. The flip side : When I deleted recently the tqd files, it was close to 5Go.

For other comments, I will follow the previous comments such as unstable (how many times I lost my settings or crashes in a middle of a set),limited (does not support VSTi,record in wav format)and the joggs are not good.
The super + I was not able to find so far in any other software is the sync which is just perfect.
