This is mine after using all the recommended Win 7 tweaks. The big one for me was the acpi battery so after disabling that things seem to be going smoothly. Also disable network adaptors, internal soundcard, webcam, card reader etc.

i dont even know how to use this.
i have 2 windows of chrome open, traktor is playing a track, no soundcard, task manager open and my laptop is hot (performance gets bad)
and everything was in the green.
Basically if you get a red spike of death (RSOD) you use the other app latency monitor to isolate the exact causes of the spikes, then use something like process hacker to kill said processes.

If you are seeing red spikes then run Latencymon: http://www.resplendence.com/latencymon
Latencymon will show you what is causing the spiking. Go to the drivers section in the tool and sort by Highest Execution (ms) in descending order. Anything showing 1.0 or higher is going to be your issue. the ACPI battery is a usual offender. In my new Samsung the Nvidia Bastard(c) driver is the offender. On that subject, if your gfx driver is the problem go into it's control panel and change the settings for maximum performance rather than maximum quality. That will improve your Traktor experience.
As a side note I found myself on the Nvidia user forum where plenty of people are complaining about pops, drops and crackles in their games - NI users are not the only ones with issues....
Beats By Dre is like audio flu for your balls.
Fixed.
DPC (the system) isn't necessary when your kernel schedules tasks in real time.
And, actually, the default Linux kernel has the same issue…but there are patches to make it work right.
(yeah…that's right…i went there…don't worry about it, i'm just trolling)
DOWN WITH WINDOWS!!!
My "spikes" are in the 140 range, and I have a TON of other stuff running in the background - including Word, Skype, Excel, Outlook, and AV. This is on my work C2D based Thinkpad T61. Do I win?
