    That sucks big time, could be the deal breaker for alot of people with fire wire audio cards and not a big budget for their laptop.

    I ordered a macbook pro two weeks ago. It and hasn't shipped yet, so part of me hopes that it will be the new model and part hopes that I will get the older one.

    I think the macbook pro will have a firewire 800/3200 port and no firewire 400 port. I do have a firewire 800 external hard drive, but I don't even know if any 3200 devices exist.

    Dual GPU sounds pretty neat, could be pretty useful for computer generated visuals.
