Oh jeeez. God, I mean, Pon de floor is annoying, but get it on a loud enough system and it gets really good.

Actually i have been listening mostly to George Benson's last album which is brilliant, along with a selection of Deep House I am going to stick in my next mix.

some great stuff on this thread, stuff i would've probably never been exposed to.

i haven't really found my niche style yet, so my sets are kind of... eclectic? (euphemism for spastic, borderline incoherent)

anyway, i dropped this the other night early on in a set and it brought some people out onto the dancefloor and the headlining dj was all "wait what?" with this raised eyebrow look.

i dunno if i'm the only one on the planet who didn't know about this guy, so sorry if this is common knowledge for everyone else, but this song effing destroys:

other than that, i think i had the most fun playing this:

there's tons of opportunities for cue juggling goodness, plus a nice groove-change midway.

by the way.. love these threads. new music is ALWAYS beneficial, even if you hate it. and it surprises me to no end how friggin' polite and open-minded these discussions are. stay classy DJTT.
