TBH I owe my current state down to two things.
1. Phat 07. For making me fall in love so completely with bass.
2. Antony. For introducing me to Ableton. (MF & Kaon will know)
Everything else just came into place after that.
I've found out about DJTT and controllerism a bit more than two months ago. Without this, I would probably be a better jazz player but would have stayed in my tiny little world of jazz and classical music. Since I've been introduce to this, it's been more of controllerism, less of jazz. With the VCI-100, I have a gajillion musical styles, a gajillion artists to share with others through a gajillion controllers and I'm not just limited to 88 ivory keys. I now have 88 keys and 90 other parameters that can all do multiple things at once. If it weren't for DJTT, I wouldn't be auditioning to be a music major with the VCI-100 as my secondary instrument. Thanks DJTT!
Second you on that midian
1) Miss Kittin's Electroclash mix on Muzik mags Aug 2002 edition.
Wow ! ...Djing is a little more artistic than blending a few seconds of
each track together
2)Anthony for getting me started on Djing again, back in 02 digital was not an option and 1200s cost as much as they do now so with no interface or gear at student allowance level DJing was a short lived passion
3) Ean + TT's for showing me what is possible
We would all be in a hurt!!!
Without DJTT, and all great posts and articles about digital DJ,
midi,mappings,etc,
I would be lost...
This site is really inspiring me, and pushes me forward.
Thanks eveybody for contibuting to that.![]()
