going off that paint idea... Would it be worth the extra money to put a clear coat of paint on top?

I don't know why anyone would want to paint the knobs or jogs or anything on it personally. I think it looks killer with the black and silver. I can't imagine any spray painting or knob dipping would look all that slick, and with all the contact from potentially sweaty hands I imagine it would just rub off pretty fast.

Just think how cool you're gonna look with a big black smear on your face during a gig! :eek:

I got my overlay, firmware-kit and jog grips yesterday, just finished the work and I got to tell you: It's the bomb really!!
