    Default Ammobox

    http://www.remix.net/wiki/ammobox

in the creators own words "With ammobox you can layer samples into a 'stream' and scratch the stream, this allows for asyncronous sample triggering and layered effects that would be impossible otherwise. Microscopically you could say that ammobox is a 'virtual battle album' toolkit, macroscopically you could say that it's a completely new way of thinking about scratching and the next step in the evolution of digital vinyl."

This changes tunrtablism and controllerism. I think using tools like this combined with cue point jugging and other controllerist tricks is the next logical step. I also think we should get a reaktor page up on here if any else is creating ensembles in reaktor. Could you imagine what you could do with ean or moldover's controller and one turntable controlling ammobox!!
    I just filled the cup.

    Hey bento,
So i checked out this idea however it seems as though you aren't able to map the audio clip tempo to midi control. Is this what you were thinking or were you describing something else?

PS wish there was a 'sxratch' for mac!

Try forcing the track to have a tempo first, Traktor's tempo wont pick up the tempo (because it does not have one) - so you need to force it to have one, you can do that how you would if you were setting the bpm using beatgrids, any tempo will do. That way the traktor tempo control will have a center point to change from, 0 tempo + 8% still = 0

I will give this some testing and get back to you all on this. Also I am also now an official DjTechTools author so will be writing an article on this to give it the coverage it deserves

    Default Ahhh ic

So What I'm wondering is whether or not it can be done JUST in ableton (no traktor if possible) as traktor isn't in my usual setup. (So for all the questions, as soon as school is over I will hopefully have time to figure this stuff out on my own, just curious now though...and procrstinating)

    cheers
