I have one of those Thomann stands (this one) and they're pretty sturdy. No you can't fold them, but they are height-adjustable and you can take them apart into 6 pieces without using tools.

i got one of these from thoman too (the one with the place for a soundcard though).
they are really sturdy indeed, but i find it a pain in the ass to put them together. takes me longer than putting my whole setup up.. i might need more training, but i'm considering getting an Uberstand for its fold capacity and weight..

I am amazed that just due to it having a numark sticker on it its $60!!!
I bet you can pick something similar up for standard screen raising for about $5!

This thing is pretty much a Griffin Elevator, which costs around 40$.
i'm looking to drop some sheets on the thomann stand, can anyone tell me if they're high enough and wide enough to put under a CDJ or a mixer?
