When is this gig and where might i ask as well? i'd like to check it out.

For those of you who haven't heard of Dada Life, go find Love Vibrations (Phatzoo dub mix) that is a killer, killer track
Thats good man. I got my first few gigs through promotors, you need to get out there and meet people.. become a regular client with promotors and if they don't hate you they will eventually give you a chance if you are good!

I go by the name NAVE & HUTCH (i spin with another bud).

The event has not been officially launched so i do not want to throw a date out their but as soon as i get the a-ok I will do so!

if you want to come check me out let me know, I played at tattoo lastnight but if you let me know in advance I can hook you up! The next few spots I will be at are

The Social Friday - May 7
    Courthouse - May 14
Electro ROCKS (my first own party I am throwing, etobicoke area) May 19
    MOD Club May 21
    Cobra - May 23
Death to INDIE (Private warehouse party) - May 28

Let me know if you want to come down to any of these events in may.. Especially the private parties since I can give you directions etc.

I'm more into the dnb scene, then house/electro but do come out to some events.

just a side note to all who look up to this guy as inspiration (and they rightfully should), what he speaks about knowing people can't be stressed enough. i had the problem of finding myself sitting around waiting for people to hit me up because i figured i had enough talent to get booked. this is wrong. you may be the best in town, or at least be able to hold your own with the big guys in your area - but if no one knows that, it doesn't mean anything. you gotta get your name out there by talking to the right people. even just by friending promoters on facebook (as annoying as it is), i've caught more than a few gigs just because they'll either post something like "looking for a dj for xxxx night" or simply an event that doesn't have a lineup announced (usually means things are still in the works) and hitting the creator up asking if he needs another guy. it's pure luck that these things happen, but again it's about who you know (of) in this field that gets you ahead.
