That won't do anything. It will still be unbalanced. There are a bunch of articles on djtechtools on "unbalanced signals", even ones posted within the last month. Probably wanna go read up on those.

....it is very confusing.......so do i want to send a balanced signal out to both my monitors from 1 stereo output if i get the audio 2?

There's the different number of outports, and the 8 does have the midi in/out. Beyond that they're all pretty similar. I would just get the best one you can afford. This just isn't something you can go overkill on. If you get one that is nicer than you need, you'll probably grow into it eventually.
