I thought I seen Serato mentioned but after I reread it actually says Stereo.

From website: A built-in, high quality (24-bit / 96kHz), multi-channel, fully patchable USB2 soundcard allows replay and recording from audio software for 4 stereo sends and 4 stereo returns.

I read 4 serato sends and 4 serato returns.

hahaha. Me not read very well. Im an idiot.

It's not just your eyes; it's a blurry picture. And yeah we all expected more because of their teaser advertising; this is just yet another giant overpriced mixer with more effects built into the mixer. Not a bad thing to add to the market but hardly the revolution they wanted us to expect.

I'm guessing this is aimed more at clubs who are buying CDJ-2000s than at DVS users since most DVS users have the effects they like built into software. I like some of the options here -- the looping sounds nice in particular (4 bars sampled even if you start with a 1/16 loop), but I don't really want or need that many conflicting effects options. I shudder to think of the trainwrecks that will occur while I'm trying to remember whether a particular effect was turned on in traktor or on the mixer. I'm also kind of disappointed with how cluttered it is and how some of the A+H options I like (e.g. 4 band EQ) are missing.

No doubt the sound card and mixer are top notch, A+H is known for quality, and they charge for it too. So, yet another expensive high quality 4 channel mixer is now on the market -- yawn.

Is there even an EQ section? Didn't notice one when I was looking at it

One thing I find interesting is the EQ section. I have not seen EQ knobs offset like that before. Its not to big of a deal but if you have meat hooks for hands (like me) it will make doing those dramatic eq sweeps a lil easier.

i've always liked the clean and simple layout of A&H mixers but this one is just too cluttered..i would love to see how the loopers and effects work. It seems like a good option for non dvs users as said before.

    Massive point.^^^

I used a A&H 62 for 5 years and it's layout and unclutttedness (?) was something I loved. This DB4 not so much.
