why the fuck take the fun out of djing??
isnt this why were all in this? love of the music and love of djing??
Fuck that son. I'm in this for the money. Use what you got. I use Mixmeister and all I have to do is pretty much show up at mobile shows, say a few words and collect big money. Scratch won't get you more money 99 times out of 100, Traktor makes your workspace at a wedding look like shit because you got wires up the yin yang, and when you're too busy spinning two tracks together, you're not making announcements, like about how somebody's got their lights on in their car, or making sure the bouquet toss happens as planned. If you do this for the money, you have standards, and MixMeister should be one of them because before that, I needed to bring an assistant if I wanted to take a piss. Now I can mix songs with it wirelessly from the bathroom of the hall I'm at. Marvellous software. And that's not to say you can't have fun with it. Mess around with loops and go loop crazy. Mash up some tracks. It's funner than you think.
