the other day i went to a party and the highlight of the night for me was when the dj slowed everything by bringing in the breakdown of quarks by dirtyphonics...

I'd think it would be extremely beneficial (even though you can tell by the songs they picked) if everyone also listed what they would consider their 'primary' genre that they classify themselves a DJ of.
