What about those times when I need to render video while I'm DJing? Seriously though, life is so much better with an i5.
whilst buying 5 blade razors isn't likely to future proof you except in the most unlikely of evolutionary circumstances, having spare cpu cycles will (unless you're a slave to marketing and upgrade every time something new lands)
Thank you knaumov, that is exactly what I was looking for. And from the id it is sandy bridge...I don't understand why they wouldn't state that more openly. That is a huge selling point for me due to the heat/power drops for the 32nm process.
I was quick to judge on that review b4, just google searched 15 in and it came up with that and didn't even check the model of the laptop.
I managed to snag one of these, unbeknownst to me, the DAY they rolled out the new models....good timing! Had I ordered it the night before, I would have gotten one with the 2.66ghz dual core i7, and now i'm getting the 2.2ghz quad core i7...
::excitement::
I think it's hilarious how in the 'unibody demo' vid on apple's website, it shows them being manufactured and assembled by white dudes in silicon valley....then when I track my order, it's shipping out of Shanghai, China...haha.
AFAIK, MSI was manufacturing some of the models.
As amazing as it sounds, but a friend of mine claims that his MSI laptop is natively recognized by Windows as being an Apple MacBook. Don't know if that's true of course.
