there's nothing better you can get than what the S4 is ...
I can use an additional computer to have of 6 decks (four on a pair of X-1, two on a regular keyboard) while still having six available channels on my mixing board. That means each player will have it's own individual fader, pan pot, send/return and, not share the channel by flipping a rocker switch

The extra computer can also be used as backup if the main computer breakdowns at a show.

The S4 looks appealing but, it does not fit my requirements.

I can also swap mixers and use my cheap rotary that offers 5 individual (rotary) channels if I would like to conduct very long transitions.

A pair of X-1's suite my requirements.

    Cheers!

What controller are you guys using to manage four decks in traktor?

In the years past, I've used my keyboard and routed the audio outs into my mixing board. I was thinking about purchasing a controller however, the ones I found only offer two controllers.
    An APC80.

Its what I use to control 2 internal decks and to TT's using Timecodes.
    Works a charm!

I doubt there exist a midi out there with 4 jogwheels and x2 as many buttons But hey, if theres a will there's a way (and probably a market ).

You could use a controller like the APC, midis that just have more buttons.

The only "all in one" 4 deck midis I've seen toggle between decks. There is the option of stacking midis, CDJs, turntables and mixers. But thats a bit over whelming, chaotic and expensive.

Also expensive, a Multi-Touch screen system running 4 decks would work. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZrK1...eature=related

Strictly speaking, what you're looking for doesn't exist. There isn't a controller out there that's just 4 platters. If you're convinced this is the way you want to go, you can get 4 platter controllers. The Denon SC2000 is a solid piece...

i would say , first get to know traktor in and out , most importantly modifiers to use shift function its not like cdjs or an analog mixer that u have only 1 control per knob or button, n how do u make music with 4 loops going on? Tell us.

Just get a Nano Kontrol or two if you're just looking to control deck functions plus various other features. This is your best and most efficient option.
