Kind of off topic, but has anyone ever used the program Docker? It's sick, you can customize every part of the dock, including the color of the dot under open applications.

I would try to stay clear of apps like WINE, it already wrecked my mates imac OS, as that he had to reinstall Snow Leopard fairly quickly.

WINE works for me, but I'm installing from MacPorts, which keeps it pretty isolated. It's possible for some dodgy installer to mess something up. Still I'd expect AppZapper to be able to cleanly remove it, but might well be wrong.

bottom line is stay away from WINE, if you don't know what you're doing

Not long taken delivery of my MBP and have to say am loving it! Just wondered if there's anyway to defragment the hard drive like you would on windows, or is it even necessary?

    Any suggestions about this guys?

you need to run the installer of FLashPlayer and tell it to install in Safari explicitly. Follow the guide in the link above.

You can also try getting it from http://www.apple.com/safari/download/plugins.html

... aaand I still think Chrome is a better option ...
