to OP, well, you better take a great deal of sleep March 30 and 31 because when TP2 gets released you will play with that thing for hours. Only if you get to be 10000% sure with TP2 than go ahead and own the crowd with that. I doubt it will be much different in workflow. Chances are you will use TP2 and since you dont know the new tricks performance will be just like TP1.

Except for the sync new mode (like Rainer said), that might get some people dizzy.

i mean theoretically you could use tpro2 the day it comes out for a gig....

i had my s4 less than 24 hrs before i played out with it... there was a bit of a learning curve the first few times i played with it at home (and the first like 5 or 6 songs when playing live were a bit nerve racking) but you get into a groove and relax and its just like anything else youve used....

    just my $0.02

Ha, that's what you're saying now, but once it's there, things will be different. I for one see myself obsessively tightening up my old beatgrids as soon the new zoom is there....or to put it more delicately with a quote from one of my favorite books/movies: "the horror, the horror"

I'll re-grid when flexible grids come. I'm not doing that twice

Ok well I don't use the sync feature on tsp 1... so i'm not really worried about the beatgrids, But I do want to use the sample decks.. do those have to be synced or can I adjust the pitch of those?

you can adjust the phase only, they are BPM synced to whatever you chose as master tempo.

Haha, how right I was, already re-beatgridded 120 tracks or so today. And totally loving the zoom
