he makes a good point, can someone tell me if there's a better way of finding videos on youtube than going through page by page alphabetically? It takes me forever to get to 'Xone DB:4'.... If only there were some way of typing in the name or subject matter of your video so it would show you ONLY the ones you're looking for....

I'm just kidding man. I know there's a hell of a lot to try n pick up at the start. Best of luck.

you shouldnt have to buy any sounds... or any synths... for the most part, you can recreate almost any sound you hear in any song with the synths in logic, you just have to know what your doing... thats what all the knobs on the synths are for... play with them, and figure shit out yourself... ES2 is a VERY powerful synth with a complex routing matrix ... if ur buying a bunch of synths just to get the sounds, ur basically just buying presets which everyone else has already used a million times over...

SOME synths might be worth buying down the line because of certain routing, filtering or waveform proccessing capabilities that other synths dont have, but its not worth buying any synths if you dont know how the ones you have work... figure out what everthing does with what you have, until you know 100% what each and every button, knob and slider does, then think about wasting more money....
