I was about to buy a new MBP and I decided to wait when I heard about the issues. HOWEVER looks like an update has been released, I'd love to hear feedback on whether or not it fixed issues.

By buying a Macbook in Chile I will save almost 30%! They have much lighter taxes over Apple products then Brazil...

This really sucks. I was SO looking forward to getting a Mac next week. I'm almost starting to think it's looking like a bad buy now for the money. =/
