MacBook Pro: glossy or matte?

I'm a glossy fan. People blow the reflection thing way out of proportion.

Hi All - just thought i'd revive this thread as i too am just about to buy an mac book pro.

I was just wondering if it makes a big difference in a club using a mac book pro with a glossy screen or an anti glare screen?

Any opinions and experience on this would really be appreciated,

word. I don't think actually paying extra is worth it, you can survive if there is glare. Surely you'll know traktor backwards by the time you're playing clubs so you won't be staring at the screen that much anyway..imo

matte. wish they were available on the 13" models. the glossy does have better colour and brightness... but it totally sucks if you have glare from the sun, or a stage light, etc.

Thanks for all the posts. I'm going to go with a matte/anti glare screen.
Spoke to a couple of people I know who play regularly around the world and they swear by the anti glare screens.

I'd get matte if I had a choice, but in all honesty, the glossy screen on my macbook really doesn't bother me. It looks a hell of a lot better than any other laptop I've seen with a glossy screen.

But, yeah…I'm 90% sure I'm going to go with matte on my next one unless I see something that makes me believe the colors aren't as good.
