Gavin was drawn to the sound ever since he was 5 months old. He actually attended his first rave when my wife was 6 months pregnant with him. (it was a gig I was playing) She's my #1 fan)

We started listening to tracks for one hour every day. I would let him dig through my records and play the ones he picked.
Everything kind of snowballed from there. As you can see in the pics the gear dj's use is evolving very fast.

Whenever he asks me to play some music I let him go at it. He's big into DnB & loves old school tracks from the 80's break dancing era.
It's such a great joy to share these moments and enjoy the art together. I plan on getting him his own gear in a few years.

this is possibly the coolest thread I have ever seen on this forum. I thought it was cool that my friend has a budgie that likes dubstep, but a 5 year old who likes old school drum&bass? legend!

My daughter is just about two.. she is very interested and curious. I hoping to get her playing piano / spin / produce - if she wants to of course.

There are some family friendly festivals here in Canada, so this summer we are going to hit up a couple. Can't wait !!
