Instead of reimplementing all these functions to the user mapping, we plan to make the default mapping much more configurable in the future, and we are already working on this. This will allow you to use the functions that are only available in default mode side by side with your custom-mapped functions."

So I look forward to seeing what NI provides for this in future product releases, which will hopefully allow User mappings (or hybrid Default + User mappings) to be even more functional.
That is good to know! It does seem a bit backwards how it all works now and the limitations of user mappings. This will be a huge step in the right direction.

When I hit play on my X1 (deck B) both decks start playing and both are in a 1/32 loop?

Meanwhile I cannot stop deck A at all. Stopping deck B takes deck A out of the 1/32 loop and starts to play as deck B is stopped.

It's not a big deal for me really since I very rarely use Loops but I thought that I would let you know about it.
I'm not sure whether this issue would have something to do with my published S4 mapping, when used on an X1. There is a deck copy feature in TP 2 - basically if the same track is in both decks, it will tend to stay in sync on both sides. While both tracks are playing you can then start to change one of them, such as by looping it while the other plays forwards.

    Good luck! ~Meta

Not really sure what is causing it - I had diff tracks in both A and B.

Anyhoo, it's not a big deal. I absolutely love your mapping and finished my recent dnb set using it and the Xone mixer... I am a happy camper!

I noticed the 4 eq while going through my settings last night trying to reconfigure a few things.

I had an idea in my head on how to get it to work but I've never really done any mapping myself. would setting it up in this fashion work?

    high knob > high
    mid knob > mid high
    low knob > mid low
    filter > low
    shift+filter > filter
