There was a very short shot around 1:57 of a girl playing what looked like a DMX controller. Was she controlling lights, fog, or musicz?!

It was a DMX controller for lights and fog. We gave most of our tracklist to the lighting guy the day before so he could commit most of the songs to memory. not the best way to do it, but it worked pretty well.

Police show up pretty promptly at the "noise off" curfew, but Isla Vista is a little college beach town; every neighbor is a student. They're either at our party or trying to throw an even louder one themselves.

Hmm... I go to school at the University of Colorado at Boulder and on The Hill (party central area for us) if someone tried to throw a party like that the cops would be all over our asses busting us within seconds. Plus its a $1000 friggin noise violation ticket and bonus tickets if the cops want to bust you for serving alcohol to minors I am jealous.

Anywho, I dont like Isla Vista for two reasons.

1) I got roofied by some dude on the street when I was in high school. SERIOUSLY!! If you are gonna give me a drink, tell me if it got roofies in it! He was drinking it too which still perplexes me.

2) Some frat douches were lofting water baloons filled with beach sand at me and my friends when we were walking on the beach. That house got rocks in their windows after dark.

Yeah everytime I'd go to Isla Vista I'd wake up with a really sore ***hole. I don't get it.

Haha yeah it's a little inside joke; he's actually one of the clothing line founders and had the first DJ set.

We threw a similar party the weekend after everyone went to the "HARD Haunted Mansion" Halloween party in LA (Justice, Soulwax, SMD, Deadmau5 etc...), and girls kept coming up asking us to play some "deadmau-five."
