at the end of the day, if its frustrating you or leaving a little to be desired - dont use it!

jump on the abletonlivedj.com forums and grab tarekith's latest dj fx rack.. he updates it quite a bit and it gets a lot of good responses from users

    Cheers!!

Anything you need help with just let me know.... Can't really help you with the Akai edition though, like Josh said, it's cut down so much that it gives you little choice but to upgrade to get the full functionality out of your controller... Oh and then you'll need max4live or nativekontrol or hanz petrovs remote scripts!

    Cheers

Hanz Petrov scripts FTW!! Darren, I've been meaning to ask you - are you still supporting your APC40 set that does not use M4L? Or have you pretty much migrated all your energies into that? I wanted to give your setup a run, but I was a little late and it seemed like all the new work became M4L-centric. I don't own it, and don't see myself picking it up anytime soon. ($$)

Also- do you know what benefits there are (if any), to using nativekontrol stuff vs. Hanz' scripts? I'm pretty happy with what his offers. Thanks man!

Yeah anything new is M4L but i understand it's not for everyone, i think Hanz's stuff is way cool and to be honest i gave up my work in bomes as Stray's Nativekontrol achieved stuff i'd have needed to invest a year into learning...

That said you can get the template and files for bomes at http://darren.bome.com and i believe the files come with any new purchase of it, that said it used to work with the trial version anyway, theres not a manual as such but theres a few videos at www.vimeo.com/studiosessions where you can pretty much figure out how to use it...

    In order of recommendation....
1,Hanz = Free and simple to set up
2,Nativekontrol, small cost but simple to set up...
3,Isotonik - you need M4L first which marks it out of the budget league....

I was almost litterally on it ALL day, I might be able to bum a free copy of Ableton from a buddy, working that out.
Also was tired and bitchy this morning
