    I am working with the controller now for almost 1 month, and i love it. The sound is really good, the bass got pressure, clear highs and no overdosed mids. I don t want to show off but i know what i am speaking about, i studied 6 years audio engineering. Please let me know if anybody can hear the difference between a 16bit and 24 bit song. Honestly, i can t
    24 bit is great, BUT ONLY for recording of voices or instruments.

    @Hippie
    you can use the mc-1000 also with a timecode system. There is no problem. btw, here is a nice video:

    300€ ist not much, even when the controller would have no soundcard. Also the quality is better as the other plastic controllers in the market... they did it very massiv.

    and cd's are also "only" 16bit so what, its made for deejays and i think that not much dj's play 24bit wav files from the HDD, or do you? i don't ^^

    I know its immature as hell, but what an unfortunate name for a product! It looks pretty nice tho.

    I dont know why people say this.

    When does a company ever release 2 versions of such a controller, one with and one without a soundcard?
    Im not talking about a VCI/S4/Reloop styles controller, i mean a compact controller. Although this isnt that compact.

    The price point means that they may as well put a soundcard in it otherwise it would be too cheap.

    Id rather have a A&H K2 or a K2 and and X1.

    There are simply not enuff controls on this unit.

    It just looks really badly put together.

    Well reloop do the contour in 2 versions for that reason. It does make sense, if you're tied to a specific sound card for DVS reasons then you don't want to shell out for another one that you're not going to use.

    For a company making small runs though, which I assume Zomo is at least initially, there's no point increasing your tooling and manufacturing costs for little benefit.
