I see that you have 2 sc2000s and a MF..
would you mind giving me a few details about how you have them set up?
MF for effects? do anything special with the 2000s?

Yep the midifighter is fx - I use the Instant Gratification Mapping from djtt

The sc2000s control the four decks, just a standard mapping I did myself.

I've also got an ecler mixer that has midi for other stuff...

first of all.. I got there and plugged in the usb and the speakers popped..
I guess thats my fault for thinking that they would have a proper signal chain

the feel wasn't too bad.. idk what the hype is about the faders..
they feel worse than an APC40, crossfader included.
But..**thats not too big of an issue
platters have a lot different feel than the sc2000.. I'm guessing you can adjust midi sensitivity
I like the FX knobs better than the sc2000
EQs feel alright
Not a huge fan of the buttons.. but thats alright..
I like LEDs and the visuals it gives you

I didn't get any functionality out of it tho..
there was something messed up and GCs top notch staff couldn't figure it out..
and I felt like too big of a knob about the speaker thing that I didn't want to ask if I could trouble shoot for myself
problem: I would be on deck A.. press play.. and phase meter goes crazy, and the pitch all the way down.. I switch to deck C and A starts playing.. switch back to A and it stops... a restart didn't help.. I blamed GC and not the S4.. but it would've been nice to play a little on it

Still undecided.


@Nicky H: what do you use to get your sc2000s at the same level as your mixer?
and would you say the MF is worth $200 for 16 buttons?

I think I could get by with an S4 and MF.
