On the subject of that mapping. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and it works well but it escapes me why they didn't put individual sample slot volume control in it. I replaced filter with volume and made shift the filter.

Do you think the X1 and TP2 license would be linked? Could be a nice deal if you only wanted one and sold the other...

don't know how long it would take them to introduce a built-in modifier deck-type=track/sample/liveIn so we can reduce the complexity of our mappings ... It's ridicules that their own mapping cannot support dynamic switching of deck types just because of this - i'm all LOL bout it HAHAHAHA


It's a great deal, this one. Heard of it a week ago from a local dealer, but couldn't believe it until NI announced it themselves . I'll get one of these X1s and would leave the TP2 license unregistered and eventually sell the S4 with it, keeping the TSP2 (=duo+s4)

I'm not aware of a way for linking them. AFAIK, NI will be issuing new TP2 licenses with a 100% discount coupon codes. It should be up to you what you would do with it, once you have the key.

Thomann have a similar deal in EU. For 200€, they give it with case. The controller only is 177, I think ...

Any idea who I should write to specifically? I just got an X1 on the 19th and I was wondering if they'd be into letting me take advantage of that promo. What do you think?
