Traktor S4 vs NS6 as a present!?

I had my friend play around with both programs (Serato and Traktor), and he says he likes them equally...

Going off this thread, a lot of people seem to be saying that an S4 is easier to use for beginners, but what about the NS6?

Is scratching on both controllers equal? And to make sure, both come with a free update for their respective programs right?

I'm personally leaning towards the Djtechtools $999 S4 AIAIAI Headphone Package, to kill "three" birds with one stone since and you can even get the Scratch Upgrade with it until August 23~

If your mate wants to scratch get the NS6.

The S4 is pretty good but the NS6 will be better imo (had a vci300 and an S4 and the vci was much better).
And it looks better built.

Although the DJTT $999 deal is very good - whichever way - it will be a great setup.
