Monitors are no good if the soundsystem is louder than the monitoring system.
Then theres the delay going through all the amps, crossovers, EQ's, etc that youve gotta contend with.

I played a gig the other day using my £60 Reloop RHP-10's. Theyve been perfect for my bedroom djing for 2 years now, but when you have to mix entirely through headphones the isolation was, to put it bluntly, shite.

This is why im about to go to either HD25's or TMA-1's. Leaning towards the TMA's for the single headphone cable design. Theyre just so damn expensive.
