iirc the Difference in Model number on HD-25's is the Cable type & length.

    For instance i've got HD 25-C II - & i've got a 3.5m Curly cable.

The SP's are a lesser ohm than the HD 25-II (they have swivel cups aswell)

As a heads up I'd make sure NOT to get the Curly cable again.

Its a bit heavy, where it joins the headphones & the cable destroys itself by pulling itself down & making a loose connection.

So get any HD-25 II Just not with a 3.5mtr curly cable!

You can also get some insane custom cans aswell http://www.customcans.co.uk

TMA-1's solved this problem by having the cord pull right out of the headphones. That's probably my only complaint about them, but it sounds better than the alternative.

Replaceable cables are a must IMO. My pio's came with a curly cable and a straight one, each has its use and it's nice that I can replace the cable without getting rid of the cans. My IEMs have the same thing, cos replacing them would cost a BOMB and be very annoying if it was just the cable connection (which is always the first thing to go).
