haha, i have run into some minor issues but always just go back to the old site as it's happening/ starting to (i kno somethings up when the page takes more then 2 seconds to load) and ive never run into any problems, exept for the skrillex remix of love in motion by sebastian i bought the other day, the mp3 was super quiet and looked like poop when pumped up to wave in traktor, then i illegally download another mp3 same quality (320) and its way better (and doesnt require an insane amount of autogain in traktor)

The only problem I ever have with beatport is spending too much money.
Actually…Apple has converted to doing that on iTunes for their DRM-free files. It looks like they're just available to download to any device you want to authorize to your account. Which is kinda cool. I assume it has something to do with convincing users to buy into the iCloud thing.

Either that or the music industry a a whole has realized that there are several tech company leaders who could pool 2-3 people's personal cash reserves and buy everything (every studio, every label, every production house, etc.).

Maybe they'll shape up and embrace the new technology.

(there's a rumor floating around that when Google was in discussions with one of the major conglomerates…someone like Vivendi or Universal…one of their C-level execs threatened to take out his check book, buy the whole company, and fire everyone if the other CEO didn't play nice. It's probably exaggerated but really funny…also I really hope Google doesn't turn evil)

So…all you people having issues with the HTML5 site that you didn't have on the Flash site. Umm…WTF browser are you using? The site was missing features while it was in Beta, and there were a couple glitches…but it's been basically perfect for me since about a week after I got my beta invite.

(btw, I use Chrome on OS X)

$2.49 per track is the de facto for EDM right? Or another store have 99 cent EDM songs?

The pricing differs between exclusive to current pricing to older tracks with cheaper price (Beatport.)

Me thinks a lot of the old tracks, let's say 8 month old ones, sound good. No need to chase for the exclusive track that is exclusive for a week or so.
