    Not sure why that requires a switch to Mac considering the budget.

    I've been considering the move to a macbook pro for a while but I've lived and breathed Windows all my life and love it.

    I've been told that Dell or Asus. But if you're on a tighter budget then go for an Acer.

    Like people have said Sony is just banking off it's name.

    I feel that HP and Toshiba laptops are just priced due to their design and name, but I guess that's just me.

    I've think I've mentioned many times that using a MacBook Air for DJ purpose is very, very, very good. If you need more disk space for production work, hook in external hard disks. If bigger screen, hook in an external screen.

    Only drawback is that the SSD setup in a MacBook Air can't make it possible for you to get terabytes of music to gigs but then again smaller crates work just fine.
