Yes I like the new Voice recognition feature. I'm not sure how accurate it will be though but knowing Apple it must work near perfect for them to release it.

I'm going to wait for the iPhone 5 which would probably be out next summer.

Thanks Karlos. Resolution on screen isn't as important as how well the app runs so... Just spoiled in this day and age of what a good crisp picture is - compared to what it used to be.

Not Steve Jobs introduced not the iPhone 5. I was not impressed, especially after all the hype. Can't believe they stuck with the 3.5 inch screen. They're falling behind, with their software (iOS 5/Siri) now probably their biggest competitive advantage.

I've been a huge Apple fanboy, but this might be what pushes me to the more advanced Android phones. If the new pure Google phone, the Nexus Prime, is awesome I'll probably buy that. It's being announced next week. http://techcrunch.com/2011/10/04/nex...-leaked-photo/

Sorry Apple to little too late, the competition is far more advanced.
Same, but I guess I don't care much about phone features anyways - I don't use the vast majority of the features on my 4 and can't think of anything I want a phone to do that I can't already.

I have a 3GS and a iPhone 4 but as much as I love my apple products I might give this one a miss and just hold out for the iPhone 5

I am definitely Re contracting my phone plan and get the iPhone 4s to replace my iPhone 4

My iPhone is pretty much the single most used device I own, it's always with me even when I go to the toilet (lol)

I used to love the iphone, but got fed up with itunes. So switched to droid.

Now im fed up with the network providers hacking the software to shit and not supporting it properly.

Thats one thing iPhone has going for it; The providers are not allowed to mess with the software. If google did the same thing they'd be in a much stronger position in my book. Some of the droid phones on Orange in the UK are f*ing hideous because the software is full of apps that want you to pay to use them, you cant uninstall them either!

I might get an iphone 5, but this is just another one of those "what can we do to make it marginally better, but still have scope to make it marginally better next year?" things.

Get out of this rubbish tech cycle FFS! I cant get a new phone every year anyway, were all tied down to 24 month contracts as is!

    I’ve got a system for buying my Apple products;

    • iPhone based on odd numbers eg. iPhone 3GS -> iPhone 5
    • iPad based on even numbers eg. iPad 2 -> iPad 4
    • iMac/Mac Pro based on screen dimensions eg. iMac 24” -> iMac 30” or Mac Pro with 2 30” Thunderbolt Screens
    • MacBook based processor eg. i7 2.2 Ghz -> whatever the fuck can beat that?

This gives me the time to get the most out of each product, and also roughly and upgrade more or less yearly, so i'll be giving the 4S a miss sadly
