make sure you download the "registry tool" from vdj's website, then change the "default scratch latency" to at or below "1020". this tweek changes the feel of scratching within vdj a lot, making it far more responsive...

actually, I should have said, I have it set to 980 I think, but the lower the faster response, although I have never needed to go any lower, so not sure at what point it'll get glitchy
