    Find ellaskins on YouTube. He has literally thousands of videos, everything from the basics up to advanced techniques on every conceivable kind of gear.

    OP, this is the most important principle in musical phrasing.

    Learn how to find the downbeat. In a given EDM track, there are lots of downbeats, but like somebody mentioned earlier it's best to start your transition on the downbeat after a 16-count.
