I actually bought the Empath as well, for a bit of variety (no satisfaction mixing droning techno, hip-hop or drum'n'bass on a rotary).

Once I move I might start a setup thread. In the meantime:

But for the fact that it's only got a single input - I'm looking for independant control on each channel (and no, FlexFX won't achieve what I'm after) - and I'd be paying for junk I wouldn't use (all my sound work is done in-the-box).
