Who is going to DEMF?

Technically it's called "Movement".

The name was changed from the original DEMF years ago when different promotion companies took over, etc.

The full name is "Movement (year): Detroit's Electronic Music Festival"

It used to be called Fuse-In for a year of so.

Now I need to find some hotels.

Well that would have been easier than trying to remember back to high school. I just remember some raver kids going to "detroit's electronic fest" its like wooo "Fused-In". They were so blown, but I remembered that stupid conversation some how.

I hate the people who refer to it as 'Techno-Fest' or 'Tech-Fest'.

It'll be all over facebook next month on everyone's wall...'Hey you goin to the Tech-Fest?'

It's next door to the festival, and you get a private entrance to the show. Plus it is pimp like no other. If you got a river view room it's even better.

Im not from there or anything, but you may also want to check out Windsor in Canada(right across the river). They have cheaper hotel options than in downtown detroit. I stayed at the Windsor Casino, which was pretty nice place compared to downtown Detroit.

Never thought of that. I might try that this year. But i'm kinda partial to the renaissance, 2 years ago staying there, at a poolside after party, MC Flipside came up and picked up the mic during my set. INSANE.
